Twitter Crushes

July 20th, 2009 § 3 Comments

I crush easily. There are several people on Twitter that I don’t even know, but I thoroughly enjoy keeping up with and reading their tweets. The content they push out ranges from design and weddings to social media and puppies or anywhere in between. Although it isn’t #followfriday, I wanted to share some of these faves of mine with you. In no particular order…

@ellieofmint

@ellieofmint

Ellie is the blogger behind Mint Design blog, and her tweets are full of design inspiration, DIY, and links to other great sources of eye candy.

I dare you not to laugh at the kind of things Lawson Clarke can say in 140 characters or less. For even more fun, visit his website, which has a ’70′s style theme and a lot of…hair.

@stylemepretty

@stylemepretty

Obviously, @stylemepretty is the Twitter account behind the amazing wedding website, www.stylemepretty.com. Full of links for to satisfy the design obsessed bride like me, these tweets keep me in constant contact with the blog.

@Dailypuppy

@dailypuppy

Cheesy? Yes. But I can’t help it. The Daily Puppy provides links to the most adorable pups sure to make you say “awwww.”

@chrisbrogan

@chrisbrogan

I saw Chris Brogan speak at SXSWi this year and have forever been changed. I learned more sitting in on his one hour panel than I have scouring the internet for social media information. He’s a total guru, constantly shares information which I believe is so integral in social media, and inspires and motivates with meaningful tweets (not just fluff).

@fortworthology

@fortworthology

If you live in Fort Worth and care at all about what’s going on in the city, you have to check out @fortworthology. The great blog, Fortworthology, keeps reader “in the know” on all things Fort Worth.

@buttonsftworth

@buttonsftworth

The reason I include Buttons is because I believe they get it. Buttons Fort Worth does a really great job with engaging people on Twitter by starting conversations, acknowledging and rewarding followers, and following through with the relationships they build. And not to mention, they have delicious food!
