Thanksgiving

Friends, how was your Thanksgiving? Mine was relaxing, yummy, and very enjoyable. I wanted to share a few images from the day – which included 5 dogs, my first batch of stuffing, and one beautiful turkey.

New invites

A couple of new invitations available in my etsy shop. This invitation collection I’m creating is a cost effective alternative to custom work and turnaround time is mighty quick!

First up, a plaid number perfect for a backyard celebration, picnic event, or for anyone who loves plaid!

Next, a blue and white typography invite that would be perfect for a bridal shower.

And of course you can always contact me for custom work and with any questions you might have!

Bring on the holidays!

November 26, 2010 § Leave a Comment

Now that the turkey has been carved, the stuffing eaten, and pumpkin pie devoured, I can officially ring in the holidays. I am so excited. Christmas time is my absolutely favorite time of year and I am so anxious to put up my Christmas tree and other decorations. What’s your favorite thing about Christmas?

Gobble gobble

Thanksgiving is just one week away. I cannot believe it. I asked Travis the other day, “Does it feel like the holidays are approaching to you?” He answered, no, which I agree. Do you feel them approaching? Whether you do or not, don’t forget to send love in the mail to those you are thankful for this Thanksgiving. Perhaps a gobble gobble card?

On overload

November 18, 2010 § 3 Comments

My friend Erin Selk shared this link with me recently and oh man – I’m on cute overload. These are the sweetest puppy clothes I think I’ve ever seen from Rover on etsy. {And this first dog – I’d like to take he/she home with me.}

I’m starting to design a small collection of invitations especially for my esty shop. I wanted to share one I just completed in these three variations of color. Available here!

Vintage trophies

November 15, 2010 § 1 Comment

I recently bought two vintage bowling trophies from the 1950′s solely because I thought they were awesome (and a deal). As I went through the check out I had no idea what I’d like to use them for, and then I thought – book ends! So while I cleaned my house yesterday I did a little rearranging in my family room to incorporate these two bowlers, and I kind of love them. I think they deserve names, no? Any ideas? Perhaps Phil and Daniel.

Two years ago

November 15, 2010 § 1 Comment

Two years ago today Travis and I did one of the best things we’ve ever done in our lives – we adopted Olive. Although rough at first, Olive has turned out to be the best dog and has added so much love and laughter to our little home. We consider November 15th to be her birthday because that’s the day we brought her home – making her three years old today. Happy Birthday little one!

This is the first picture I ever took of her – in the car for the first time right after we adopted her. She looks so different to me now!

Where Am I?
