The Standard Textbook of Cosmetology

January 12, 2011 § 1 Comment

On a trip to my local antique mall to muster up some inspiration and see if I could find some bargains, I found what might be my favorite antique purchase of this whole year. Yes, friends, for less than $2.00 I am now the proud owner of The Standard Textbook of Cosmetology, published in 1967 for Mary Webb’s Beauty School. Full of valuable information like the 5 defective body postures, how to give a good shampoo, and wig care, this is a real gem. Not to mention, I’m loving the illustrations, type and colors. Inspiration indeed!
