Life has been a little hectic lately, so much so that I missed the chance to blog about my first wedding anniversary. Last Sunday, March 20, Travis and I celebrated our first year together as husband and wife. Words couldn’t begin to express my gratitude and love I have for Travis. You are my everything. Here’s to many, many more.
Life Lately

Life has been surprising me lately. Some of the most exciting opportunities have fallen into my lap and I find myself in disbelief of what’s to come. But with this good fortune, I feel a little overwhelmed. Do you ever get overwhelmed? What do you do to cope? On the flip side, I am utterly grateful. So so thankful for those in my life that support me, encourage me, and keep me sane. I’m grateful for every opportunity in this short life of mine. I’m excited to keep you posted in the next few weeks of what’s to come for Blue Eye Brown Eye. In the meantime, what are you thankful for?

A few images from a calligraphy project I wrapped this week. I really loved working on this project because it was fun doing something a little different – upright script in all lowercase. For some reason I just love the look of all lowercase letters, don’t you? Letterpress invites are by Needle in a Haystack.
Sailor Shoes

When warmer weather hits, I find myself always drawn to red, navy, and white color combinations. Thus, I’m naturally loving these two little shoes at ModCloth. The heel on the left is the House a Home Heel, while the wedge at right is the Fleet Week Chic Heel.
Vintage Stamps

I have a weakness for vintage stamps. They give any envelope an instant touch of whimsy and originality. This is a recent calligraphy and save the date job I wrapped and I just had to share images of these stamps I got from Champion Stamp Co. If you love the look of vintage stamps, and aren’t sure where to start with them or where to buy, check out this blog post I wrote awhile back about vintage stamps. There are a lot of great resources out there!
