I had the opportunity to collaborate with a great team recently at the Design Inspirations engagement in Fort Worth. Kristin Wallach of Designing Fresh asked me to do a bit of calligraphy work and a chalkboard for her tablescape she designed and presented. The Swoon :: What to Expect

The Swoon is tomorrow, are you coming? I’ve been prepping all week for this event that’s sure to bring you loads of inspiration and ideas. I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you – first, the goodies you’ll find from Blue Eye Brown Eye in the first 50 swag bags. The first 50 people in the door will get vintage stamps from yours truly – enough to send one letter to someone you love.
Secondly, I wanted to share my inspiration board with you I’ve been working from for quite awhile. Expect to see some fun surprises in the Blue Eye Brown Eye/Anna Routh Photography booth. You’ll definitely want to swing by, I promise.

It’s an exciting week here for Blue Eye Brown Eye because The Swoon event is finally here! This Saturday, March 24th from 4 – 9 pm, come out and enjoy an array of unique wedding vendors, ideas, treats, and most of all, the party! If you’re a bride or groom-to-be, a lover of wedding blogs, or just a creative person that likes to be inspired, this will be the event for you! Anna and I will have a booth together, and we have lots of surprises up our sleeve!

Rough Drafts & A New Obsession

I’ve got a big project coming up that I’m making some “rough drafts” for, well – it’s more like “rough books.” This is a handmade book I just whipped together this morning using a coptic stitch. Y’all, this could be a new addiction. It’s so much fun. More to come about said project.

Banners, Diagonals, Purples

To add some spice to this suite, we decided to do the addressing on a diagonal, including the inners. Little flags that nod to the reply address design were a fun add-on to the front of the envelope!
