A preview: florals
Last week Anna came over to the studio to work her photography magic and we did a product shoot that was way overdue (can’t wait to share images). I put together a couple of bouquets for the portfolio and here’s a peek at them in Instagrams. If y’all haven’t noticed, I’m obsessed with Instagram. It’s my favorite app right now, hands down. If you’re on it – I’d love to follow you. Find me under username @laurenessl!
One of my favorite blooms is the parrot tulip (my own bouquet was made up of orange parrot tulips) and I found the most beautiful slightly peach parrot tulips at my local market. Combined with kale, hydrangea, and various greenery, the colors created the most beautiful, muted color scheme.
I wanted to create a different shape for the second bouquet – one meant to be cradled in the nook of your arm, rather than carried front and center. I incorporated succulents among anemones and other colorful floral to add a punch of color.
