Gocco Printing

I have a new little obsession. It’s called Gocco Printing. This Wikipedia article has a nice little blurb on what exactly Gocco is. In a nutshell, it’s a Japanese printing process where you use light bulbs to burn your image into a screen. Then you print like crazy! (It’s very fun and easy). A few months ago I bought a Print Gocco system (a Riso PG-10 Super to be exact) and didn’t open it up for awhile because I didn’t know how to use it. Once I finally dusted it off, I was shocked at how easy it is to use the machine. They’re no longer in production, but they’re available on sites like etsy (where I bought mine) or ebay.

Yesterday I made a couple of new cards that I’m going to have at The Dallas Flea. By the way, are you coming to The Flea this Saturday? Hope to see you there!
