When your photographer friend, Amanda, travels with you to LA and you teach in the most beautiful space ever, it makes for some very nice images (especially when shot in film)! I had the hardest time narrowing them down, but after toiling over them here are the highlights from my most recent classes in LA with designlovefest. It was a marathon of workshops – four classes in two days. The first class was an advanced class in gold – a first for me – followed by three beginner courses in color. Thank you to all of the wonderful women who attended and to the designlovefest team for being such wonderful hosts!

Uppercase students used Dr. Ph. Martin’s Copperplate Gold during class. (My favorite gold ink).

Beginners mixed Winsor & Newton gouache in: Opera Pink, Opera Rose, and Cobalt Turquoise Light (my personal faves).
